We are grateful to have a community of individuals and foundations that are passionate about creating sustainable impact. Here’s a few of our Foundation Partners:
Founded on a History of Empowerment
For over a decade we have been working to unlock the economic potential of people living in extreme poverty. In 2007 we started by listening. We heard from people living in extreme poverty that they wanted a chance to provide for their families. They were tired of relying on emergency relief for their every need. With a vision to create sustainable economic development programs, Capable was born. Since then, we have been walking alongside communities as they make the difficult journey from poverty to well-being. As we head into our second decade, we’re still listening and learning from the people we serve. The women who have graduated from our programs tell us that the tipping point between poverty and well-being is when they realize that they are capable. When they experience that shift in mindset and are given the tools they need for success, anything is possible. Everyone has inherent potential.
